It was a dark night and the village of Odin was sound asleep. The live stock safely in the strong wooden pens and the human family’s tucked in their beds with the fire dimmed down to embers. Their strong fortress with the wall of the Protection served as a haven for the human kind who lived there, however the land they took it from would soon go into flames with burned corpses. Miles of way into a cave which had deep catacombs of the not so extinct Vitaary’s, an great race of animal’s who walk like human’s and the smarts of one, were around a large plat form their eye’s glowing like small suns. A sudden roar broke out in rage echoed off the walls.
“The parasites called Human’s have been on our lands long enough! We have been on our bellies like the sand snakes of the Desert Quash and have been cowardly! My father made the mistake of making agreement with the humans and look where he is now! He is in the skies of the gods while the humans break our trees and our lives. I say that is long enough for their reign and must be put to an end!" It snarled towards the audience below it. The shadows beneath their leader agreed. The humans have been there for years, and they haven’t seen the light of the sun or the sparkling glittering of the stars and moons. “I, N’orotox, your clan leader and friend shall bring you and your mates and offspring to salvation!” He promised with a fierce attitude.
A sudden voice, female, broke apart the arguments against the humans. “N’orotox,” the shadow was light up by her followers in their black gowns and their candles lighten up on the stakes. Her white gown was down to her tail and the garments underneath were made of the softest yet durable Snow Phoenix feathers. Her frame much resembled a snow leopard but her ears were curled behind her like an elf’s. She had the appearance of a fair maiden, sleek and elegant, but if the other looked closer they would see the dangerous glow of steel daggers dipped in an unnatural light of poison. The only sound she made was the necklace on her and had the skinned tail bones of the smallest animal and the herbs of the Great Oak Tree. The shadows moved out of the way so she could get towards N’orotox.
The female didn't as much as had any respect to the new clan leader when she bowed and she rebuked him. “What in the great god Brith’s name are you putting into the minds of the clan?!” she said with her ice blue orbs glowing with such a fierceness the smaller males took a step back as if her aurora was to burst out. N’orotox jumped down from the platform and looked at her. His black fur rippled underneath his Battiskilc hide woven with the elastic material of silk from the only finest worms. His body was blessed from the gods of strength but had the curse for seeking battle when it was not needed.
“Lilith,” he growled. The female before him was his father’s greatest female warrior. She had earned her rank as Medi-Warrior and not only that but was a Prophetess. N’orotox believed that the female was nothing more than a liz’jk ( to be proven, or attention seeker). He could change the ways to the way they were, where the females had the chance to talk in battle tactics or political views, since he was clan leader but he would have to go great lengths for that. “You, under any right, have no argument towards this and I.” He said.
Lilith’s ears flicked and she raised her voice. “I have every right to stop you from leading Clan Kreotecx to its death!” She said. N’orotox lifted his lips slightly and his white fangs curved in irritation. “You are wrong female. We are superior to the human parasites! This clan under my rule would be able to take our lands back from them and take their live stock for food. We would be respected from the Council, as well as the other races. If you do not see this than your supposed prophecies are false.” He snapped. Lilith’s eyes widened. “You wouldn't! You would be breaking the Circle and bring the world-“N’orotox interrupted her “‘Into chaos and the world will burn into the ashes of death.’ Tales for the offspring!” He said with scorn.
Lilith was in rage. The stupid kit of the clan leader Roarth was a disgrace to this clan! “The humans' will end you with their smoke sticks and tear apart your pelts! I will be this as a warning, N’orotox; I will not stop you if you seek out war. But take heed into my advice,” she turned around walking away with her followers until she stopped. “What happens if you go to battle, and you may as well win, how many of your clan mates will be never to tell the tale?”
And left without another word.
